These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ocanzo website, the Ocanzo mobile applications (the Customer App and the Vendor App), and all related services (together, the Platform).
The Platform is owned and operated by Ocanzo Technologies, a sole proprietorship registered in India under Udyam Registration Number UDYAM-MH-33-0774676, having its registered office at H. No. 49, near Marathi School, Vahuli Village, Mumbai–Nashik Highway, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra – 421302 (“Ocanzo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
1.1. “Customer” means a person who uses the Platform to discover, enquire about, or book a Space.
1.2. “Vendor” means a venue owner or their authorised representative who lists a Space on the Platform. The relationship between Ocanzo and Vendors is governed separately by the Vendor Agreement.
1.3. “Space” means a venue or part of a venue listed on the Platform that is available to book for an event.
1.4. “Booking” means a confirmed reservation of a Space made by a Customer through the Platform.
1.5. “Booking Amount” means the total amount payable by the Customer for a Booking, including venue rent, food package charges, décor charges, add-on charges, and applicable platform fees, but excluding any refundable security deposit.
1.6. “Content” means any text, photographs, reviews, ratings, listings, messages, or other material submitted to the Platform by users.
2. About the Platform — our role
2.1. Ocanzo is an online marketplace that connects Customers who want to book event venues with Vendors who own or operate those venues. We currently operate in Pune and Mumbai, Maharashtra.
2.2. We are a facilitator, not a venue provider. The contract for the use of a Space is directly between the Customer and the Vendor. Ocanzo is not a party to that contract, is not a co-host or event organiser, and does not own, manage, or control any Space listed on the Platform.
2.3. We provide the technology to discover Spaces, communicate, make Bookings, and process payments. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any Space, nor the conduct of any Customer or Vendor.
2.4. Listing of a Space on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement or a representation by Ocanzo that the Vendor holds the licences or permits required to operate the venue.
3. Eligibility and accounts
3.1. You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to use the Platform.
3.2. You register and log in using your mobile number, verified by a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
3.3. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
3.4. One person may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse promotions, evade restrictions, or manipulate reviews.
4. Bookings
4.1. Making a Booking. When you submit a Booking, you make an offer to reserve the Space on the terms shown. A Booking is confirmed when (a) the Space is set to instant confirmation and payment succeeds, or (b) the Vendor accepts your request within the approval window.
4.2. Approval window. Where a Space requires Vendor approval, the Vendor must respond within the time shown at checkout (typically 24 hours). If the Vendor does not respond, the Booking is automatically declined and any amount paid is refunded in full.
4.3. Accuracy of details. You are responsible for the accuracy of the event details you provide. Changes to a confirmed Booking are subject to availability, Vendor acceptance, and the modification rules in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4.4. Your conduct at the venue. You agree to use the Space only for the lawful purpose booked, to respect the Vendor’s house rules and capacity limits, and to be responsible for the conduct of your guests.
5. Pricing and payments
5.1. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include the components shown at checkout. You will always see the full Booking Amount before you pay.
5.2. Depending on how far away the event is, payment is collected either in full at the time of Booking, or as a booking deposit followed by a balance due before the event.
5.3. Payments are processed by our third-party payment partner, Razorpay Payments Private Limited. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s applicable terms. We do not collect or store your full card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
5.4. Some Spaces require a refundable security deposit. It is collected separately from the Booking Amount and returned after the event, subject to any valid damage claim.
6. Cancellations and refunds
All cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The version in effect at the time you make a Booking applies to that Booking.
7. Service delivery
Ocanzo provides a digital service — the discovery and booking of physical event Spaces. No physical goods are shipped. Booking confirmations, receipts, and updates are delivered electronically through the Platform immediately upon confirmation.
8. User content and reviews
8.1. You retain ownership of Content you submit. By submitting Content, you grant Ocanzo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
8.2. Reviews and ratings must be honest, based on a genuine experience, and free of unlawful, defamatory, or abusive material. We may remove Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- circumvent the Platform to transact directly with a Vendor for a Booking discovered on Ocanzo;
- create fake bookings, reviews, or accounts, or manipulate ratings;
- scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Platform without our written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or introduce malicious code;
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff.
10. Intellectual property
The Platform, including the Ocanzo name, logo, design, software, and all related materials, is owned by Ocanzo Technologies and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without our prior written consent.
11. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services, including Razorpay (payments) and Google Maps / Places (location). Your use of those features may be subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ocanzo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, data, or goodwill.
13.2. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to a Booking shall not exceed the platform fee actually received by Ocanzo for that Booking.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ocanzo and Ocanzo Technologies from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising out of your use of the Platform, your Content, your conduct at a Space, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Suspension and termination
15.1. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time, subject to completing or cancelling any active Bookings.
15.2. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or where required by law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve them within 30 days.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Thane, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
