Ocanzo is a marketplace for booking event venues — the kind you need for the celebrations that happen far more often than weddings do.
Why we built this
Finding a good venue for a small event in India is harder than it should be. You end up calling a dozen numbers from a listings site, waiting for callbacks, negotiating blind, and never quite knowing what you'll actually get until you arrive.
The existing options are mostly lead-generation directories — they hand over a phone number and step away. You can't see real availability, you can't see a real price, and you certainly can't book.
We thought booking a space for a party should feel as simple as booking a table or a cab. So we built a platform where you can discover verified venues, see real photos and transparent pricing, choose your date and food, and confirm and pay — end to end, from your phone.
How it works
Ocanzo is a facilitator: we connect people who want to celebrate with venue owners who have great spaces. Customers browse and book in the Customer App. Venue owners list and manage their spaces in the Vendor App. Payments are handled securely through Razorpay, and held until after the event so both sides are protected.
We deliberately don't do weddings. We'd rather be excellent at the everyday celebrations than average at everything.
